2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Since its introduction in 1992, Honda’s iconic Fireblade has evolved into an incredible 1000cc sports motorcycle, considered the top sportsbike in our lineup. It leans on the engine and chassis technology of the RC213V-S ‘street-legal MotoGP machine’, with aerodynamics drawn from the RC213V MotoGP bike. The Fireblade is designed for pure, outright track performance. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has been created from the ground up with heavy input from the HRC MotoGP™ development program. Engine and chassis technology lean heavily on that of the RC213V-S ‘Street legal MotoGP™ machine’, with aerodynamics drawn from the RC213V MotoGP™ bike. To keep pace with the RR-R SP’s improved engine performance, the suspension has been upgraded to a third-generation semi-active Öhlins Electronically Controlled suspension (Smart-EC) with a 43 mm Öhlins NPX fork, and a third-generation TTX36 rear shock. The suspension works in conjuction with the Öhlins Object Based Tuning interface (OBTi) to offer finer adjustment of settings. Honda engineers didn’t stop with the engine in their quest for an even lighter RR-R SP. The bike’s aluminum diamond frame is a full 1.1 kg lighter for 2025, with carefully rebalanced lateral and torsional rigidity for improved handling and rider feedback. The frame uses the rear of the engine as the upper shock mount, and the swingarm copies RC213V-S design. RR-R SP upgrades for 2025 also include Brembo Stylema R four-piston radial-mount brake calipers, which are operated by a Brembo master cylinder and brake lever. Large 330 mm diameter discs with 5 mm thickness dissipate heat effectively even during hard, repeated use. The rear brake caliper is the same Brembo unit fitted to the RC213V-S. Plus tax and License.
